Acknowledgement

Thank you Rev. Philip Varughese Achen for celebrating today’s Holy Qurbana service and for the inspiring message. Thank you, lay leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. 

Worship Service

Next Sunday, the Divine Service will be celebrated in English at 8:30 a.m. Sunday School will begin at 10:30 AM

Parish Day

St Johns Mar Thoma Church will celebrate our Parish Day on March 23rd. Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rv Dr Abraham Mar Paulos episcopa will lead the Holy Qurubana service in English at 9am. A public meeting will be organized after the service and will be followed by lunch. Requesting your prayerful participation  for the parish day program. 

Choir

The General body meeting of STJMTC choir will be held online on  Sunday March 17th 2024 , 7 Pm, via Webex, presided by our vicar Rev. Jeswin John. All choir general body members are requested to attend the meeting .

The agenda is as follows:

1. Presentation of committee approved choir report 2023.

2. Presentation of committee approved  audited accounts of 2023.

3. Budget Presentation for the year 2024.

4. Choir calendar for 2024.

5. Any other matters with the permission of the chair.

Requesting the prayerful participation of all choir members. 

Edavaka Mission

A Lent Evening Prayer, led by the STJMTC Edavaka Mission thru WebEx will be held on Wednesday March 13th at 7 pm via Webex. All members are  requested to participate. 

Youth Fellowship

Diocesan Youth Fellowship Wednesday lent prayer will be held on Wednesday March 13th  at 8pm. The Midwest youths will lead the prayer. An online link will be provided to all the youths. 

Message from the Trustees

1 Diocesan Sunday offertory has been received from 18 families. We thank the families who prayerfully participated in the special offertory. Trustees request the diocesan contributions to be remitted by next Sunday.  

2  The list of items required to furnish the Parsonage will be available in the Fellowship hallway. If you wish to sponsor any item, please contact the Trustees and/ or the secretary.  

Refreshment

Thank you, refreshment committee, for organizing today’s refreshments.  

Showers of Blessings

Mrs. Christina Varghese and Mr. Sojan Mathew were blessed with a baby girl, Elisha Rachel Mathew, on March 9, 2024. Mother and baby are doing well. St Johns Mar Thoma Church conveys our congratulations to the family. 

New Membership

Membership of Praveen Gomer, Shybe Varghese, Gabriel Gomer and Sruthi Gomer have been approved. St Johns Mar Thoma Church welcomes the family to our parish.
